Do you know what foods are in season?

19 May

I was on Kraft’s website the other day and found it super handy that they have an entire section titled Budgetwise where they give tips on how to be more frugal in everyday living. They had a page that caught my eye that displayed what fruits & veggies are in season right now. I always have a general idea of what foods are in season, but is super helpful to have them all right at your finger tips. It makes meal planning that much more efficient, and there were even a few fruits/veggies that I had forgotten about!

Check out the site here and section on what foods are in season.

Also, if you’d like to be even more penny wise with your summer spending, check out this article titled Stretching Your Grocery Dollar with Seasonal Summer Produce over at They also give a list of in-season produce but also include some other handy tips!
